REVIEWS

quote Consistently excellent this is our regular go to place for quality food in Wellington ! Dosa’s are amazing but so are the curries - chukka chicken, mango chicken were our favourites tonight. Roti bread is always great too! Huge thanks to the team and chefs.

quote One of Wellington‘s hidden gems. Great service, delicious curries, value for money and a nice friendly atmosphere. The Dosa, and Thali are just a couple of my favourite dishes … but … they’re all good!

quote Great little venue Booked a table for 5, which was a good idea as it packed out in no time. We were greeted and shown to our table, and our drinks order was taken quickly. Good selection of options and everyone found something they wanted. The food selection catered for everyone also, and after the tough decision of only choosing one thing, we all ordered. The food came out quickly, it was a good temperature, and with good portion sizes. The staff were all very nice and helpful, the venue location is well situated, and the atmosphere was fun. We all agreed we'd be back.

quote I had the nasi lemak, which many would say is the national dish of Malaysia. It was good, the lamb curry was tender and flavourful, the rice was OK and the peanuts, cucumber and dried anchovies were just right. The odd thing was the sambal, it was unlike any sambal I've ever had and was like an italian passatta with chilli powder added. Odd. The service was nothing special. Not rude, but not welcoming either. Overall, I'd recommend Rasa for a cheap and cheerful Malaysian.
